Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and professional Part-Time Intern to join our insurance agency team. This role is ideal for a college student or early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience in sales, marketing, and customer service within a fast-paced office environment.
As an Intern, you will support both the sales and service teams while helping generate new opportunities through outbound marketing calls. This is a great opportunity to learn the fundamentals of insurance operations, relationship-building, and client communication.
Responsibilities
• Make outbound marketing calls to prospective customers using provided scripts and call lists• Assist the sales team with lead follow-up and appointment setting• Support the service team with administrative tasks and policy-related documentation• Help organize client information and maintain accurate records in agency systems• Assist with quoting preparation and gathering required documents• Provide general office support as needed
Qualifications
• Strong communication skills and a professional phone presence• Comfortable making outbound calls• Positive attitude and willingness to learn• Detail-oriented and organized• Ability to multitask and support multiple team members• Proficient with basic computer systems and data entry
Compensation $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
